While it's possible to bake the bread in a bread maker, we recommend baking in the oven for the best results and an amazing crust ♡
INSTRUCTIONS FOR OVEN:
What you will need:
-2 teaspoons (7g) instant dry yeast
-2 teaspoons (10g) vegan margarine or butter
-1 1/4 cups (290ml) lukewarm water
-Dutch Oven or Covered Pot(ø 8"/20cm)

1.Mix the dough. In a large bowl mix together baking mix and yeast. Add vegan margarine or butter and water and knead with electric hand mixer (with dough hooks) 5 minutes.
2.Let the dough rise. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let rest for 90 mins in a warm place.
3.Shape the dough. Flour a work surface and place dough on it. Fold the outer sides into the center, one side at a time, until a loaf is formed. Place dough in a bowl with parchment paper, let rest for 30 mins, covered, while you preheat the oven.
4.Heat the oven & pot. Place empty covered pot (with lid) in the lower third of the oven and heat to 460˚F (240˚C) for 30 mins.
5.Bake the bread. Remove the empty covered pot from the oven (careful, it’s very hot!). Place the dough and parchment paper into the pot, cover with the lid and bake for 45 mins.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR BREAD MAKER :
Put 1 cup + 2 tablespoons (260ml) of lukewarm water, 1 teaspoon of maple syrup, 1 tablespoon of melted butter, the baking mix and 1 teaspoon of instant dry yeast in the baking container.
