Instructions - Italian Spelt Pizza

What you will need:

-2 1/4 teaspoons (7g) instant dry yeast

-2 tablespoons olive oil

-3/4 cup + 2 tablespoons (200ml) lukewarm water

-Toppings of your choice (e.g. tomato sauce, veggies, etc.)

  1. Mix the dough. In a large bowl mix together baking mix and yeast. Add olive oil and water and knead with electric hand mixer (with dough hooks) for 5 mins. Finish blending with hands if needed.
  2. Let the dough rise. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and let rest for 90 mins at room temperature.
  3. Shape the dough. Flour a work surface and place dough on it. Divide in four even parts and shape balls. Lightly dust the balls with flour, cover with a kitchen towel and let rest for 20-30 mins, while you preheat the oven.
  4. Preheat the oven to 480 °F (250°C) together with a baking tray on the bottom shelf of the oven. 
  5. Roll out the dough. Use a rolling pin to shape a thin pizza and place on parchment paper. Add pizza sauce and the toppings of your choice. 
  6. Bake. Place pizza with parchment paper on the hot baking tray and bake for 8-10 mins. Do the same with the rest of the pizzas.
